A Global Act of Kindness: Darren Hart Foundation Visits Smile Children’s Home in Kayole

On 27th July, the Darren Hart Foundation spent a meaningful and uplifting afternoon at Smile Children’s Home in Kayole, Nairobi, bringing hope, warmth and essential support to the children. We were joined by our dedicated volunteer Sarah Kotut and her friend Julia, a student from China currently studying in the United States, who travelled to Kenya to experience our mission firsthand.

‎Through Julia’s generosity and the commitment of our team, the foundation provided food, snacks and shared moments of joy with the children. The visit was filled with laughter, storytelling, and meaningful engagement that left a lasting impact on everyone present.

‎As part of our child protection efforts, we also taught the children vital lessons on personal safety, reminding them that no one should harm, kick, push, or touch them inappropriately, and encouraging them to always speak to a trusted adult whenever they feel unsafe. Empowering children with knowledge is one of the strongest safeguards we can offer.

‎We remain deeply grateful for global friends and partners who walk with us in spreading love and compassion. Their willingness to connect across borders shows that humanity has no boundaries.

‎At the Darren Hart Foundation, every act of kindness counts and together, we can create a world where every child feels seen, safe, and supported.
