Date: 24th July, 2022.
Objective : Provide basic sustenance items to the kids living in the Children’s home and to teach them “My Body Is My Body Programme.”
Context: To help the children at the children’s home meet the basic needs they had shortage of.
Practice: We went to Zion Children’s Home that is located in Kasarani area, Nairobi.We took donated items such as food, clothes and shoes.
Other than giving the children food, clothes and shoes, we taught them “My Body Is My Body Program”. We took time to mentor the children on importance of education, eat and play with the children.
Success: we washed clothes, cooked, mentored the children, cleaned, ate, cut the cake and finally played with the children. The children had fun with us around and we were able to give them items.
