Date: 13th May, 2023.
Objective: Provide sanitary pads to girls, donate balls, soap, toothpaste and teach the “My Body Is My Body Program”.
Practice: We truly embodied its motto,”To Dare Is To Do,” at Ngei Primary School in the Southlands slums of Lang’ata, Kenya. The girls were provided with two packs of sanitary towels each, menstrual hygiene was taught through My Body Is My Body Program. The boys received academic mentorship, footballs and a small talk on the program.
Success: It was a joyous occasion where girls were provided with at least two packs of sanitary towels, as well as toothpaste, soap and education on menstrual hygiene through the My Body Is My Body Program. The boys also received valuable education on the same program topic, and were gifted two leather footballs, toothpaste, and soap.
