Impact Highlight: Empowering Girls & Greening the Future – Mama Ngina Primary School Outreach (Friday, 23rd 2025)
On Friday, 23rd, the Darren Hart Foundation, in partnership with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Kioo Cha Jamii Initiative, led a transformative outreach at Mama Ngina Primary School – Kinoo. The day was filled with purpose and impact—300 indigenous and fruit trees were planted to promote environmental sustainability, and sanitary pads were donated to fully stock the school’s sanitary towel bank, ensuring dignity and uninterrupted learning for over 500 girls.
We also donated two footballs and an air pump, and most importantly, provided mentorship sessions focused on menstrual hygiene, self-confidence, and purpose-driven living. We are incredibly grateful to the school staff for their warm welcome and commitment to nurturing the next generation. Special thanks to AWS for being our main event sponsor and to Kioo Cha Jamii for subsidizing and donating trees. To our volunteers—you are the heartbeat of this mission. We welcome donors, partners, and change makers to join us as we continue building stronger, greener, and more empowered communities across Kenya.
