Title of activity – Restoring the dignity of the girl Child
Date: 25th May, 2024.
Objective: Provide sanitary pads, clothes and shoes to the girls and women and offer them sex education.
Practice: We donated sanitary pads, clothes and shoes
Success: We successfully visited the women in Mukuru Kwa Njenga slum, at Carson academy Nairobi Kenya to raise awareness for the upcoming World Menstrual Hygiene Day. We distributed sanitary pads and clothes to over 400 young mothers and school-going girls, ensuring they have access to essential hygiene products and information. Additionally, we extended our support to the boy child by donating 2 brand-new leather first-class balls and clothes, promoting inclusivity and well-being across genders.
