Date: 3rd April, 2023.
Objective: Provide reusable sanitary pads to girls, donate balls and teach the “My Body Is My Body Program”.
Practice: “To Dare Is To Do” We certainly lived upto this motto at the Ruiru Prisons, Mukuyu Primary School. It was a joyous occasion where girls were provided with a pack of reusable sanitary towels and menstrual hygiene was taught through My Body Is My Body Program. The boys received academic mentorship, footballs and a small talk on the program.
Success: We planted 200 trees. We are grateful to everyone who made the event a success and a special thanks to the Global Goodwill Ambassadors Foundation for their partnership and support. The pupils had an unforgettable day and will always cherish the memories we had together.
