On 11th January 2026, the Darren Hart Foundation had the honour of standing with vulnerable women in Southlands Slums, Lang’ata; sharing brand new clothes, shoes, refreshments and, most importantly, genuine human connection.
What began as an outreach became a moment of family. The women welcomed us with open hearts, shared their stories, their laughter and their struggles. In their smiles, we saw hope. In their eyes, we saw trust.
This was not charity. This was dignity restored. This was not a visit. This was the beginning of a relationship. The women asked us to return. They asked us not to forget them. And we won’t.
