Darren Hart Foundation equips adolescent girls with the tools they need to safely navigate puberty and step into their potential. Working in partnership with other sponsors, we provide sanitary pads and reproductive health education to girls in children homes. Darren Hart Foundation seeks to support these girls from poor social economic background with annual packs of sanitary towels to reduce absenteeism from school leading to poor performance. Today in Kenya menstruation is not only a health concern, but also an educational policy concern, and has become a key factor in the country’s bid to achieve the Millennium Development Goal (MDG) of eliminating gender disparity in primary and secondary education.
