On March 18th, the Darren Hart Foundation continued its mission of reaching vulnerable communities with compassion and purpose through a visit to Mama Fauzia Children’s Home in Kasarani (Ghorofani area).
While the children were in school at the time, what we encountered spoke volumlive. We were warmly welcomed by the caregivers, individuals whose dedication, resilience, and unwavering commitment to nurturing these children left a lasting impression on us. Their work, often carried out behind the scenes, is nothing short of extraordinary.
Extending Care Beyond Presence
During our visit, we donated:
•Clothing for the children
•Essential supplies to support their daily needs
Though the children were not physically present, their presence was deeply felt in every corner of the home, in the care taken to provide for them, in the structure of their environment, and in the passion of those who serve them daily.
This reminded us of something powerful:
Impact is not only in the moments we see, it lives just as strongly in the moments we don’t.
